Professional Wildlife & World Travel Photographer Jeremy (pictured above) grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a kid, his favorite pursuits were playing piano (by ear), rollerblading, and building massive creations with building sets. Moving into his teens, the DJ bug bit him, and he rapidly became the hardest working, most sought after DJ for teen dances in the area.
After high school, Jeremy wasn't particularly excited about the prospect of going to college. Fortunately, after immersing himself in a three year Multimedia Program at Cañada Community College, he discovered Ex'Pression College for Digital Arts, a digital arts college where all of the learning was hands on. He received his degree in Motion Graphic Design, which followed a degree in Multimedia Design, and it was while there, that his passion for photography took root.
In the summer of 2008, he was a passenger on a high-end luxury cruise-line with his grandparents in the Baltic Sea. He had recently left a much sought after job in motion graphics advertising because it kept him indoors, at a computer screen all day, and socially isolated. He needed to be with people. He was unsure of his future. While cruising the Baltic, Jeremy's passionate interest in photography brought him to connect with the ship's photographers. After the cruise, the idea of traveling around the world working as a photographer caught his imagination and wouldn't let go. He kept in touch with his new friends, and in 2009, when there was an opening available and they contacted him, he didn’t hesitate.
Jeremy started as a photographer; was promoted to Assistant Manager and shortly after, Manager. With seven years of professional world travel photography and portraiture under his belt, working alongside some of the world’s top professional wedding and portrait photographers hands on, Jeremy was able to reach a very high achievement, receiving his Associateship in Wildlife Photography from the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP). This is the second highest level of a worldwide government recognized photographic certification. With over 10 years of professional photography under his belt and over 100 countries and all seven continents traveled, Jeremy continues on a mission to push himself further and further into the world of photography and success.
